The Sidi Drako 2 SRS MTB shoes are all-conquering, attractive and easy to care for off-road race shoes. Designed to excel in the worst conditions possible, they are easily customisable to ensure that, however rough your off-road adventures are, your shoes will live to tell the tale.
Their light, stiff, toe-spike compatible MTB SRS Carbon-Ground sole drops about 100g per pair, compared to the previous Dragon Carbon SRS sole, without sacrificing power or durability. It consists of replaceable tread blocks in the toe and heel, attached to a medium-modulus carbon sole, plus an innovative Replaceable MTB Plate, designed to prevent sole damage from pedal contact.
The shoes also feature a Soft Instep Closure System, a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad, that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. Adjustable from both sides, the replaceable system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender.
The Drako 2 SRS MTB shoes use Sidi's Tecno-3 Push dials to customise the fit along the length of the shoe by adapting the upper to the shape of the foot. These famously reliable, serviceable and replaceable closures have been improved by an all-new, proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely non-binding, for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustment. A push button that lifts the buckle facilitates such adjustment.
Finally, the Drako 2s will hold your heels steady using the Adjustable Heel Retention Device and Sidi's Heel Cup. The former reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe securely around the rider's heel. Each side can be adjusted independently, for a perfect fit. Meanwhile, the anatomically shaped cup stabilises and supports the heel, reducing slip and providing increased power transfer, along with protection in the event of a crash.
