The Judge is WTB’s rear-focused tyre for when you need serious grip and control while riding enduro or downhill on the roughest of terrains. Featuring tough casing, gnarly knobs and a flat-top profile, it’s made to deliver maximum traction, braking power and durability.
The tyre is built with a TriTec blend that uses three distinct rubber compounds to suit different functions. The foundation of the tyre and the base of the tread uses a tough, supportive rubber to reinforce the knobs, while the outer knobs are soft for maximum grip. Meanwhile, the centre knobs fall somewhere in the middle, offering traction and durability without sacrificing rolling efficiency.
The knobs are extended and chunky, with full-length siping that doubles their ability to bit into the trail and helps optimise your braking, so you can depend on this tyre to keep traction and corner like a boss on steep, wet or loose trails, in all weather conditions.
Puncture resistance and sidewall support is provided by two full layers of casing, for your peace of mind on rowdy trails or when riding heavy E-Bikes, while tubeless compatibility ensures the tyre can be run at low pressure for enhanced grip and toughness.
This tyre also features a flat side-to-side arc, allowing the side knobs to dig in faster and deeper, an especially helpful trait on off-camber trails where you need extra support.
