The bar tape is extra thick and wide compared to standard tape, meaning it provides far more comfort and can cover wide and flared gravel-specific drop bars as well as standard drops. The 100% silicone compound is the same that Wolf Tooth uses for its Fat Paw Grips, which are renowned in the mountain biking community for their vibration dampening qualities.
