All-new geometry
A shorter stem, increased BB drop and shorter cranks all help to centre your weight for balance on fast moving gravel and control on rougher ground. Meanwhile, an increased stack height means faster descending and a more comfortable position for all-day epics.
This bike also features a longer axle to crown and slacker head tube angle, for even more stability, more predictable handling and cornering, along with enough clearance to opt for larger, more comfortable tyres.
A build for every rider
Since the frame is now more compact, the standover height is lower, which opens up the fit range and lets riders choose for themselves whether to size up or down to best suit their riding style. Now with an expanded range of five to six sizes, the new Vault can fit riders from 4′ 10″ to 6′ 5″.
All heights of rider will experience the same ride, too, thanks to Pivot's unique custom-tuned carbon frame layup that ensures that each bike is stiff in the same places, to the same degree. Independent strength to weight analysis for each frame guarantees consistent performance metrics, while the ability to adjust to stem length and BB drop perfects the fit.
Tyres for miles
Massive tyre clearance means masterful shock absorption and capable obstacle stomping. The new Vault remains as stiff and efficient as ever, but features dropped chainstays, a long fork and a sculpted seat tube that leave room for up to 700 x 50c tyres, without weakening the frame.
The Vault also features an ISO-FLEX damper insert, which slides into the seat tube to create a cushioning space between the seat post and frame. Compatible with any round 27.2mm seat post, it leaves room for a dropper post while ensuring your ride will feel silky smooth.
A clean, customisable cockpit
Pivot's own Cable Port System and oversized head tube ensure that cables can either be fully or semi-integrated, or a combination of the two, depending on how important aerodynamics are to your ride.
There's also an internal ToolshedTM to hold your essentials, with door clips that hold the cables up and out of the way, so that they never impinge upon the amount of storage space available inside the frame. Brake, cable shift and cable dropper housings will all be held securely and silently.
Ample storage space
The new Pivot ToolshedTM in-frame storage solution comes with two bags and is designed to carry your essentials, whether that's spares, snacks or emergency tools. There's an integrated strap loop that lets you attach your desert island tool inside the door, and the door itself is held by a magnet.
Beyond that, there are multiple mounting points to let you prepare for trips lasting several days. The front triangle can fit an impressive five water bottles, while hidden fender mounts ensure the Vault is ready for any foul-weather ride.
