The Espresso 2 Women's Shorts have evolved to be more supportive, soft and technical. They now offer better comfort and coverage where they meet your jersey, thanks to the addition of extended, folded lightweight mesh panels at the front and back of the waist. The improvement has come through feedback from the pros, real world cyclists and the testing and refinement of multiple prototypes to refine every panel, seam and finish.
These shorts therefore meet the demands of the most elite female cyclists. Nothing has been changed for the sake of it, though; they are still made from Castelli's form fitting yet soft, stretchy and unrestrictive Espresso Doppio fabric, with raw cut leg endings, and they're still built around the cushiony Progetto X² seat pad that offers progressive damping to keep you comfortable on long rides.
