The new TLR version of the Barzo and Mezcal offers the same high-performance tread designs as the Barzo and Mezcal high-end versions, while using a robust and flexible Nylon 60 TPI casing and folding tubeless-ready bead.
These two treads have marked Vittoria's history in XC. Since their launch on the market, they have collected countless national and European titles; Jordan Sarrou won the MTB XCO World Championship in 2020 on Barzo; Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won the MTB XCO World Championship in 2022 on Mezcal; and Henrique Avancini won the MTB XCM World Championship in 2023 on Mezcal, just to mention the most iconic ones.
The new tyres feature the same high-performance tread designs as the Barzo and Mezcal high-end versions, while using a robust and flexible Nylon 60 TPI casing, folding tubeless-ready bead, and a versatile yet durable, all-conditions rubber compound.
Barzo features an alternating ridge design and progressive sipe angles. Cornering duties are handled by the moto-style block knobs, laid out in a proven V-formation. The result is a tyre that corners as fast as it rolls, while still offering the protection of a full-depth tread.
Mezcal features a unique low-profile tread that is tightly spaced in the centre for low rolling resistance and durability. Countless effective edges work together to grip on a variety of terrain, while directional siping on each knob provides traction in the roots and rocks.
